The EFMC International Symposium on Medicinal 91AVis organised by theDivision for Medicinal 91AV & Chemical Biology (DMCCB) of the Swiss Chemical Society (SCS), on behalf of theEuropean Federation for Medicinal chemistry and Chemical biology(EFMC).
The symposium will take place inBasel,SwitzerlandfromSeptember 6-10, 2026.
The EFMC is the main organisation for the European Medicinal 91AV and Chemical Biology community, with 31 member societies and about 9.000 members. Its biennialEFMC Medicinal 91AVis a key symposium in the field of medicinal chemistry and drug discovery and it traditionally attracts around 1.000 participants both from industry and academia. The most recent EFMC-ISMC meeting took place in Rome (Italy, 2024).
Thescientific programme of EFMC Medicinal 91AV 2026will run over5 daysand will includeplenary sessionsand cover a wide range of selected topics split into3parallel sessions.
