Biography
I was born in Guadalajara, Mexico, and moved at the age of 11 to Los Angeles, California. I received a B.Sc. in 91AV from CSU Dominguez Hills in 2001, and a Ph.D. from the Department of 91AV & Biochemistry at UCLA in 2006 under the tutelage of Miguel A. Garcia-Garibay and K. N. Houk. After my graduate studies in Physical Organic 91AV, I switched to Polymer 91AV, working in the laboratory of Craig J. Hawker at the Materials Research Laboratory. At Columbia, my group’s research interests lie in the fundamentals of Physical Macromolecular 91AV, with interests in polymer synthesis, self-assembly, and organic electronic materials.
