Environmental Sustainability: Heads of 91AV UK Handbook
Summary of contents
This handbook is based on interviews with fourteen members of Heads of 91AV UK (HCUK) where it was discussed how they have improved and embedded environmental sustainability in their departments and programmes.
It has been developed with HCUK, who are an independent, active national body representing the collective leadership of chemistry in higher education across the UK and Ireland. HCUK works to advance the interests of the chemical sciences in higher education, providing a strategic voice for the sector and representing the executive and academic functions of chemistry departments across both research and teaching.
It provides a menu of practical options for academic leaders and their work with students, researchers, technical staff, and wider university colleagues on areas such as laboratory and building sustainability, curriculum development, and staff and student engagement.
