Physical 91AV Chemical Physics is co-owned by 19 learned societies, including the Canadian Society for 91AV (CSC). This collection celebrates the involvement of CSC in the journal and showcases excellence in physical chemistry and chemical physics research in Canada. 

Contributions in all areas of physical chemistry & chemical physics are welcomed. Contributions covering fundamental or applied, experimental or theoretical work (and all combinations) are all highly appreciated.  All submissions will undergo the journal’s rigorous editorial assessment and peer review. When submitting, please mention that your work is for the Showcasing the Breadth of Physical 91AV Chemical Physics Research in Canada themed collection. 

This call for papers is open for the following article types:

  • Full papers

If you would like to contribute to this themed collection, you can submit your article directly through the journal’s . Please answer the themed collection question in the submission form when uploading your files to say that this is a contribution to the themed collection and add a “Note to the Editor” that this is from the Open Call. The Editorial Office reserves the right to check suitability of submissions in relation to the scope of both the journal and the collection, and inclusion of accepted articles in the final themed collection is not guaranteed.  

Please note that for publication, manuscripts must meet the usual rigorous and high standards for acceptance in the journal, and all submissions will be subject to initial assessment for suitability for a full peer review before a final decision is made. Accepted articles will be in a citeable form, included in the and published in an issue as soon as they are ready
