The role of Life Cycle Assessment in delivering the UK’s Industrial Decarbonisation Strategy

8 December 2021 19:00

Introduction
Dr Sophie Parsons will give a talk on life cycle assessment (LCA) and its use to understand environmental impact across a product's life cycle from a systems perspective.

As we transition towards net zero carbon emissions by 2050, it is more important than ever that new technology to enable this transition is environmentally sustainable. The talk will explore uncertainty and some of the challenges of modelling technology at scale illustrated by case studies on how LCA has been used to do this.

This event is held via Zoom; follow the link for joining instructions.
