The importance of trust and empowerment

16 June 2022 12:30-13:30, London, United Kingdom

Introduction
When the workplace went online, the speed with which new processes and technologies were adapted was matched only by the need for new strategies, skills and critically new approaches to working.  Underpinning all of this was trust in your teams to deliver – but how was this achieved and what have we learnt to take forwards?

Our speaker, Dr Sophie Carr is the founder of Bays Consulting, the Vice President of Education and Statistical Literacy at the Royal Statistical Society and the World's Most Interesting Mathematician.  Having trained as an engineer, Sophie found Bayesian statistics and following redundancy founded her company Bays Consulting which has a 50:50 gender balance, 8 languages, 5 nationalities and revels in statistics and data science.
