Practical Essentials of HPLC & LC-MS

Introduction
This course provides the essential and practical theory about all available HPLC & LC-MS techniques, covering how to select an appropriate mobile phase and develop gradient elution methods; pumps and plumbing; autosampler injection techniques; sample preparation, calibration standards and sample properties; how to select an HPLC column; selection and operation of an appropriate HPLC detector and how to undertake data analysis for quantitation and qualitative analysis.

This course has been approved by the 91AV for purposes of Continuing Professional Development (CPD)

This is a modular course, delegates can choose to attend individual modules, or combine modules to suit their needs:

Module 1: Practical Essentials of Liquid Chromatography and LC-MS Introduction
Module 2: Practical Essentials of Mobile Phases & Pumps in HPLC & LC-MS
Module 3: Practical Essentials of Sample Introduction in HPLC & LC-MS
Module 4: Practical Essentials of LC Classification, Columns & Theory
Module 5: Practical Essentials of LC Detectors
Module 6: Practical Essentials of Data Analysis for HPLC & LC-MS
Module 7: Practical Essentials of Mass Spectrometers in LC-MS
Module 8: Sample Preparation, Calibration Standards and Sample Properties for HPLC & LC-MS

This course is taught live in a virtual classroom and offers a fully interactive experience, with instrument parts and consumables to see. Participants can ask live questions; either by using their microphone or by typing into the chat box.

Duration: 18 hours.
Scheduled course price: £1100 + VAT per delegate.
