We are aware of phishing emails targeting speakers of events whose names appear on our events pages. If you are unsure if an email regarding event registration or accommodation has come from us please contact us and do not provide any credit card details or personal information.

The Events Team office will be closed from Thursday 24 December 2025 until Monday 5 January 2026. You can still submit during this period but we will not be available to respond to enquiries or authorise listings until the week of our return.

Advanced School in Liquids and Complex Fluids: Solutions in the Spring

Introduction

About:

The aim of this school is to provide a comprehensive foundation for researchers in the field of soft matter, liquids and complex fluids. The lectures will introduce key topics of current interest together with the theoretical, experimental and computer simulation approaches used to address them. The school is directed towards postgraduate students from a wide range of backgrounds including physics, chemistry, chemical engineering and biophysics. Organised by the IOP Liquids and Complex Fluids Group

Registration:

Researchers can register online until 2nd May 2025. The registration fees include access to the talks and refreshments and lunch across four days.

Abstract Submission:

The abstract submission is now open. The deadline to submit an abstract is 15 April 2025. Contributions for poster presentations are invited. Abstracts should be a maximum of 400 words, including figures and references. We look forward to receiving your submission.

Please complete all sections of the form and agree to the terms and conditions. The corresponding author will receive an email confirming receipt of the submission. Further information can be found in the submission portal.
