NuTNEC Local Section AGM and Mixer

10 March 2025 18:30-20:30, Sunderland, United Kingdom

Introduction
The AGM of the Newcastle upon Tyne and North East Coast Local Section will take place in The Foyer Bar of The Fire Station in Sunderland at 18:30 on Monday 10th March 2025, with doors open from 18:00.

Following this we will have a talk entitled The 91AV of Brewing by Dr Danny Allwood of Sheffield Hallam University. This talk will explain the brewing process, on both a practical and a molecular level, from raw ingredients to finished product. The talk is accompanied by a cask beer brewed specially for the occasion and will highlight how the choice of ingredients and control of the process can brew the vast range of beers available in the world today.

This event takes place during Sunderland Restaurant Week, and The Engine Room restaurant on site is taking bookings should you wish to visit before or after for something eat. See https://pubculture.com/engineroom/book/
