2026 RSC Chemical Biology and Bio-Organic Group (CBBG) Forum

Introduction
The RSC Chemical Biology and Bioorganic 91AV Group invites you to their Forum meeting, to be held in person at the historic Glamorgan Building, Cardiff University.

This is the CBBG's annual meeting, bringing together the UK’s Chemical Biology community to showcase and discuss new research at the chemistry-biology interface. 

Abstracts for oral presentations are welcome from postdoctoral researchers and academics/independent group leaders in their first ~5 years of appointment in the broad fields of chemical biology and bio-organic chemistry.

Abstracts are also welcome for poster presentations by postdoctoral researchers and PhD students.

Registration cost for attendance is £35 (without VAT) and is non-refundable.

Abstracts should be prepared by using the template provided.

Young Investigator Workshop (YIW). The RSC will nominate one early career researcher* from the oral presenters at the CBBG Forum 2026 to attend the Young Investigator Workshop (YIW) of the EuChemS 91AV in Life Sciences Division on Friday 17 July 2026 at the Eindhoven University of Technology, Netherlands. To be considered for the YIW, please submit an oral abstract for the 2026 CBBG Forum before the deadline of 16 Jan 2026. Candidates whose abstract is selected for the CBBG Forum and are eligible to attend the YIW will be asked if they want to opt-in for consideration.
* Eligible candidates for YIW will have successfully defended their first PhD >2 and ≤10 years (with consideration of career breaks) and must be independent group leaders.
